Who it's for

Sticky notes and a notepad spread across a desk

Your website copy has two readers: Google, deciding what the page is about, and a customer, deciding whether to pick up the phone. Most small business sites satisfy neither. They open with "Welcome to our website", list services in a single line each, and end with a contact form nobody is invited to use.

Our copywriting services fit businesses where:

  • The homepage talks about the company's history before it says what the business does or where
  • Service pages are a paragraph long, so they don't rank and don't answer the questions that stop people calling
  • Visitors arrive from Google but leave without contacting you, and you can't tell why
  • A new website is being built and the designer is waiting on copy that nobody has time to write
  • You run a campaign or promotion and need a landing page with one clear job
  • The copy was written years ago and no longer matches what you sell or how you price

We write for contractors, home services, law and accounting firms, clinics and dental practices, local retailers and B2B service companies. The work is different from blog content: fewer words, higher stakes, and every sentence has to earn its place on a page that exists to produce an inquiry.

If what you need is a regular flow of articles, look at our content writing services instead.

How we do it

  1. 1

    1. Understand the offer and the buyer

We start with a call about your customers: who they are, what they worry about before hiring you, which objections come up on the phone, and why the good ones choose you over the competitor down the road. We also read your reviews and any emails customers send, because they contain the words buyers actually use.

  2. 2

    2. Research and brief each page

For every page, a content brief sets out the primary keyword, related terms, the questions searchers ask and the intent behind the search. A service page targeting "emergency water heater repair" needs a very different opening from one targeting "tankless water heater installation cost", and the brief makes that explicit before a word is written.

  3. 3

    3. Plan the page structure

We outline the page in the order a buyer thinks: what it is, whether you serve their area, how it works, what it costs or what affects the price, why trust you, and what to do next. Proof goes where it is needed, such as licenses, certifications, warranties you actually offer and real review excerpts you supply, never invented claims.

  4. 4

    4. Write the copy

We write in plain language, lead with the benefit, and cut anything that sounds like filler. Keywords go where they help both readers and search engines: the title, the main heading, the opening lines and a few natural mentions. Calls to action are specific, such as "Book a free estimate" rather than "Learn more".

  5. 5

    5. Check it against the search results

Before you see the draft, content scoring compares it with the pages already ranking for the target keyword and flags any subtopic a searcher would expect to find. We add what genuinely belongs and ignore suggestions that would clutter a sales page.

    6. Write and preview the search snippet

Your title tag and meta description are your ad in Google's free results. We write them for each page and check them with a search result preview, which shows how they will look in the results and whether they get cut off, so the snippet reads cleanly and gives a reason to click.

    7. Revise and hand over

You review each page, we revise, and final copy is delivered in a format that suits your setup. We can also publish it for you and check it on mobile.

What you receive

For every page in the project you receive:

  • The SEO brief, showing the keyword target and the questions the page answers
  • A layout outline with sections, headings and call to action placement
  • The finished copy, including the H1, subheadings, body text and calls to action
  • The title tag and meta description, with a preview of how they appear in Google
  • Suggested internal links to and from your other pages

Copy is delivered as a shared document for review, then as final text ready to paste, or published on your site if you prefer. After launch, we send you a short check-in on how the rewritten pages are performing in search, so you can see the effect of the work rather than take it on faith. Questions get an answer within one business day.

Pricing: custom quote after a free review

Copywriting is quoted after a free review, because the number of pages and the research each needs varies a lot between businesses. If you are on a Growth or Authority monthly plan, a new service or city page each month is already included.

What is SEO copywriting, and how is it different from ordinary copywriting?

Ordinary copywriting is written to persuade. SEO copywriting has to persuade and also match what people type into Google, so the page can be found in the first place. In practice that means the keywords shape the page topic and headings, while the words themselves are written for a reader deciding whether to contact you.

Will the new copy help my rankings?

Clear, well-targeted copy is one of the things Google weighs, and it often helps pages that were vague or thin. But rankings also depend on your site's authority, technical health and competition, so we can't promise a position. We can show you exactly how each page is targeted and track how it performs.

Do I have to provide the information?

You provide the facts only you know: what you offer, how you work, what customers ask, and what sets you apart. A 30 to 45 minute call usually covers it. We turn that into copy, so you won't be asked to write anything yourself.

Can you rewrite just a few pages?

Yes. Many projects are three to five pages: the home page and the services that bring in the most revenue. We'd rather rewrite the pages that matter well than touch every page lightly.

Do you design the pages too?

The copy comes with a simple layout outline showing sections, headings and where calls to action sit, which any designer or page builder can follow. If you need the design done, our landing page design and web design services can handle that side.

What if I don't like the first draft?

Tell us plainly what feels wrong, even if it's just that it doesn't sound like you. Two rounds of revisions are included per page. Most changes after the first draft are about tone, and once we have your voice right, the remaining pages move faster.

Can you write copy for a regulated business like a law firm or clinic?

Yes, with your review built in. We avoid claims that professional rules or advertising regulations may restrict, such as promising outcomes, and we mark any statement we want you to confirm. You or your compliance contact sign off on the final copy before it goes live.
