On-Page SEO Services
Our on-page SEO services rewrite and restructure the pages you already have, so each one clearly tells Google and your customers what you do, where you do it and why they should call you.
What's included
- A search-focused title tag for every optimized page, written to fit in Google's results without being cut off
- Meta descriptions that describe the page honestly and give searchers a reason to click
- A clean heading structure: one H1 per page and H2s that follow what people actually look for
- Copy edits that work your target keyword and its close variants into the text where they read naturally
- Internal links between related services, locations and supporting pages, with descriptive anchor text
- Image work: compressed files, descriptive file names and alt text that describes the picture
- Schema markup on each page where it fits, such as LocalBusiness, Service or FAQPage
- A before and after sheet showing exactly what changed on each page
Who it's for
On-page work is for businesses that already have a website but suspect it isn't pulling its weight in search. Common signs we see on small business sites:
- Pages named after nothing. A plumber's service page has the browser title "Services" or "Home", so Google has to guess what the page is about.
- One page trying to rank for everything. A dental office lists cleanings, implants, whitening and emergency care in one long page, and none of those services gets a page Google can confidently show.
- Duplicate titles and descriptions. A theme or page builder copied the same title across a dozen pages, and they end up competing with each other.
- Images that tell search engines nothing. A bakery's cake photos are named IMG_4432.jpg with no alt text, and each one is several megabytes.
- Dead-end pages. Service pages that never link to each other, to your location pages or to the contact page.
None of these are dramatic problems on their own. Together they make it hard for Google to match your pages to the searches you care about, even when your business is exactly what the searcher needs.
It also suits businesses that just added new services or moved into a new area, and want those pages set up properly from the start. If your site is brand new, our SEO for new websites service handles the launch side as well.
How we do it
- 1
1. Pick the keyword for each page
Every page we optimize gets one main keyword and a few close variants, based on real search data rather than guesses. If you haven't had keyword research done, it is part of the package: we check what your customers type, then assign each term to the page that should answer it, so two pages don't chase the same search.
- 2
2. Crawl and score each page
We run on-page checks across your pages. Each check reads each page the way a crawler does and flags missing or duplicate titles, heading problems, thin content, missing alt text, broken internal links and missing schema. That gives us a page-by-page checklist instead of a general impression.

3. Write the titles and descriptions
Titles and meta descriptions are drafted with a search result preview, which shows how each one will look in a Google result on desktop and on a phone. We keep the keyword near the front, include your city where it matters, and trim anything that would be cut off. The goal is a result that a searcher understands at a glance.

4. Improve the copy
Next, content scoring compares your page text against the terms and subtopics that pages already ranking for that keyword tend to cover. We use it as a guide, not a formula. If the top results all explain pricing factors or the service area, and your page doesn't, we add a section. If your page repeats a phrase ten times, we take some out. The copy should still sound like your business.

5. Fix headings, images and internal links
We set one clear H1, reorganize H2s around the questions people ask, compress and rename images, write alt text, and add links from each page to its closest relatives: a service page links to the relevant location page, a blog post links to the service it supports.
- 6
6. Add schema where it fits
Pages get the structured data that matches their content, for example LocalBusiness on the home or contact page and FAQPage where there is a real FAQ. For sites that need more than the basics, see our schema markup services.
- 7
7. Check and hand over
After the changes go live we recrawl the pages, confirm nothing broke, and ask Google to recrawl the updated URLs through Search Console if we have access.
What you receive
When the work is finished you get a single report, usually a shared spreadsheet plus a short summary, that includes:
- A page map listing each optimized URL with its main keyword and variants
- Before and after for every title, meta description and H1, side by side
- A change log of copy edits, new sections, images renamed or compressed, and internal links added
- The schema added to each page, with a validation check
- A short list of issues outside on-page scope that we noticed, such as slow pages or crawl errors, so you know what to look at next
If you want the changes applied by you or a developer rather than by us, the same sheet doubles as step-by-step instructions. This is one-time work; if you want pages reviewed and refined every month, our monthly SEO services include ongoing on-page fixes.

What is the difference between on-page SEO and off-page SEO?
On-page SEO is everything on your own pages: the words, titles, headings, images, links and code. Off-page SEO is what happens elsewhere on the web, mainly links and mentions from other sites. Both matter, but on-page work usually comes first, because links pointing at a vague page do less than links pointing at a clear one. We cover the other side on our off-page SEO services page.
Will you change the look of my website?
No. On-page SEO optimization changes text, tags, image files and links, not your design, colors or layout. If a heading needs to become a real H1 instead of large bold text, the visible result usually looks the same. Anything that would visibly change a page is listed for your approval first.
Do you rewrite all of my copy?
Only where it needs it. Many pages need a better title, a clearer opening paragraph and a few added sections rather than a full rewrite. Where a page is very thin, for example a single line under a service name, we write new copy and send it to you to check before it goes live.
Can you work on my site if I use WordPress, Wix, Squarespace or Shopify?
Yes. The changes are the same on every platform; only the place we make them differs. With login access we make the edits ourselves. If you would rather keep control, we can hand you a change sheet that you or your developer apply.
How do you choose which pages to optimize?
We start with the pages that sell: your home page, each main service page and any location pages. Then we look at pages that already get some impressions in Google but rarely get clicks, since those often respond well to a better title and description. Blog posts and minor pages come last.
How soon will I see a change in rankings?
We can't promise a timeline or a position. Google has to recrawl the pages, and the outcome depends on your site, your market and how strong your competitors are. What we can show you right away is the before and after of every page, so you know exactly what was done.
Is keyword stuffing still a problem?
Yes. Repeating the same phrase over and over makes a page harder to read and can work against you. Modern on-page SEO optimization is about covering the topic well: answering the questions a customer has, using the natural variations of a term, and making the page easy to scan. We would rather mention a keyword a handful of times in the right places than force it into every sentence.
