Local SEO Services
Local SEO services that put your business in front of people searching nearby, by working on every part of how Google judges a local company: your profile, your listings, your reviews and your website.
What's included
- Google Business Profile cleanup and ongoing management, including weekly posts, photos and review replies
- Local keyword research by service and by town, so we target what nearby customers actually type
- Citation building and cleanup so your name, address and phone number match across the web
- A review request process you can run from your phone, plus replies to new reviews
- On-page fixes to your home page and service pages: titles, headings, local signals and internal links
- New service and city pages where your site has gaps (on the Growth plan and up)
- Map ranking reports that show where you appear across your service area, not just at your front door
- A monthly report in plain English, with what we did, what changed and what comes next
Who it's for
Our local SEO services are built for businesses whose customers live within a drive of them. That covers trades like HVAC, roofing, plumbing and electrical, clinics and dental offices, law firms, salons and spas, restaurants, auto repair shops, cleaning companies and most other service businesses that sell to a local area.
The problems we usually see fall into a few groups:
- You show up for your own name, but not for your service. People who already know you find you. People searching for "water heater repair" or "family dentist" in your town find three competitors instead.
- You rank well near your office and nowhere else. Many businesses appear in the Map Pack a few blocks from their address, then vanish once the searcher is across town, even though they serve that area every day.
- Your details are a mess across the web. An old phone number here, a previous address there, two Google profiles for the same shop. Each one chips away at how confident Google is about who you are.
- You have fewer reviews than the businesses ranked above you, and no simple way to ask for more.
- Your website says little about where you work. One generic services page, no mention of the towns you serve, and titles that don't match what people search.
If you have a single location and want a local SEO company to handle the whole program, this page describes it. If you run several locations or a franchise, see multi-location and franchise SEO instead, since that work is organized differently.
How we do it
Local SEO works best when the pieces are handled together. A perfect profile with a thin website stalls, and so does a great website with inconsistent listings. Here is how we run the program.
- 1
Start with a baseline. We begin by scanning where you appear in the Map Pack across your service area using map ranking grid scans. Each scan runs a grid of searches from points around your territory, so you can see the neighborhoods where you show up and the ones where you don't. We also check your Google Business Profile, your main listings and your review count against the businesses currently beating you.
Map ranking grid scans - 2
Choose the right searches. Through keyword research, we build a list of the terms people use to find your kind of business, grouped by service and by town. A roofer's list looks nothing like a dentist's, and "emergency" searches behave differently from research searches. We pick the terms that match what you actually sell and where you want the work.
Keyword research - 3
Fix the profile. We clean up categories, services, business description, hours, attributes and photos on your Google Business Profile, then keep it active with weekly posts and replies to reviews. The details of that work are on our Google Business Profile optimization page.
- 4
Make your listings agree. We correct wrong or duplicate listings and add you to the directories that matter for your trade and region, a few each month. Consistent name, address and phone details make it easier for Google to trust your profile. Read more about local citation building.
- 5
Build a steady flow of reviews. We set up a simple request link and message you can send after each job, and we reply to new reviews on your behalf in your voice. We never gate reviews or offer anything in exchange for them.
- 6
Fix the website. With on-page checks, we review each of your key pages for missing titles, weak headings, thin content and missing local details, then make the fixes. On higher plans we add service and city pages where there is a real gap, written for people in that area, not copies with the town name swapped.
On-page checks - 7
Review and adjust every month. We re-run the map grid, compare it with last month and decide where to push next. If one part of town stays weak, we look at why: distance, a strong competitor, missing content or thin reviews.
What you receive
In the first weeks you get a starting snapshot: your map grid for your main keywords, a list of the profile and listing problems we found, and the plan for the first three months.
After that, every month you receive:
- A map ranking report for your tracked keywords, with the grid shown side by side against the previous month.
- A work log listing the posts published, photos added, reviews answered, citations built or fixed, and pages changed.
- A short summary in plain English covering what moved, what didn't and what we plan to do next month.
On the Growth plan and up, you also get a monthly call to go through the report, plus a check of how your business appears in ChatGPT and Google AI Overviews. Everything we create, from pages and posts to photos and listing logins, belongs to you.

What is the difference between local SEO and regular SEO?
Regular SEO aims at the standard list of blue links, often for searches with no location attached. Local SEO focuses on searches where Google shows nearby businesses, like the Map Pack and results for phrases such as 'near me'. It leans on signals that general SEO barely touches: your Google Business Profile, your listings on other sites, your reviews and how close you are to the searcher. Most local businesses need both, with the local side coming first.
Do I need a physical office to rank locally?
You need a real address where you can be verified, but it doesn't have to be a storefront. Service-area businesses, like plumbers or mobile groomers, can hide their address on Google and list the areas they serve instead. What you can't do is use a virtual office or a mailbox service to fake a location, since Google suspends profiles for that.
How is a local SEO company different from doing it myself?
Everything we do can be learned, and some owners handle the basics well on their own. The difference is time and consistency: posting every week, chasing listing errors across dozens of directories, tracking rankings across a whole service area and fixing the website at the same time. We also use tools that show your rankings across your whole service area, which is hard to check by hand from one phone.
When will I see results from local SEO services?
It depends on your starting point, how competitive your trade is in your area and how strong the businesses ahead of you are. A profile with obvious errors can respond to fixes quickly, while a crowded market takes steady work over months. We won't give you a date we can't stand behind, but your monthly map reports will show you exactly what is moving.
Will you work on my website too, or only on Google?
Both. Your website is one of the strongest local signals Google has, so every plan includes on-page fixes to your existing pages. Growth and Authority plans also add new service or city pages, blog posts and editorial backlinks. If your site needs a rebuild rather than fixes, we'll tell you after the free review.
Are you a local SEO agency near me?
We work remotely with small businesses across the United States, so your location doesn't matter to how we work. Local SEO is done through your profile, listings and website, none of which need us to be in your town. You can reach us at (866) 571-4320 or [email protected], and we reply within one business day.
