Online Reputation Management
Online reputation management for small businesses: we watch what's said about you across reviews, news and the web, respond the right way, and build up accurate, positive pages so a search for your name tells the full story.
What's included
- A reputation baseline: what shows up when people search your business name and your owner or practitioner names
- Ongoing monitoring of reviews, news, forums, blogs and social mentions
- Alerts for new negative content, with a recommended response
- Written responses to reviews and public complaints, agreed with you for sensitive cases
- Removal requests for content that breaks a platform's policies, documented step by step
- Profiles and pages you own, built out or improved so they appear for your name
- Positive, factual content published on your site and on reputable third-party sites
- A crisis plan for sudden spikes, such as a viral complaint or a damaging article
- Monthly reporting on what appears for your name and how it has changed
Who it's for
Online reputation management is for businesses where something online is hurting trust, or where the owner wants early warning before it does. It's broader than reviews. It covers everything that appears when a customer searches your business name or the name of the person they'll be dealing with.
We work with:
- Professionals whose name is the brand: doctors, dentists, attorneys, financial advisers, therapists and real estate agents, where one complaint site or unfair post can shape how new clients see you
- Local businesses with a problem result: a complaint thread, an old news story about a previous owner or a scathing blog post sitting near the top of your search results
- Businesses hit by a review spike: a sudden wave of one-star reviews after a viral post, sometimes from people who were never customers
- Companies after a rebrand or change of ownership that still get judged on the old name's history
- Owners who want monitoring, so they hear about a problem the day it appears, not when a customer mentions it weeks later
Many reputation problems start small. A slow reply to one complaint, an unanswered forum thread, a review that nobody flagged. Catching those early is cheaper and easier than repairing the damage once it's spread. If your concern is mainly about Google reviews, review management services may be all you need.
How we do it
- 1
Map what people see
We start with the searches that matter: your business name, name plus city, name plus "reviews" or "complaints", and the names of owners or practitioners if they're searched. We record every result near the top and label each as positive, neutral, negative or yours to control. That baseline is what we measure progress against.
- 2
Monitor continuously
Brand and media monitoring tracks new mentions of your business and key names across the web, including review sites, forums and blogs. It also watches news and online publications, so an article about you doesn't go unnoticed. When something negative appears, we alert you with a summary and a recommended response.
Brand and media monitoring - 3
Understand the story
Not every mention matters equally. The same brand and media monitoring helps us see which themes and sources are shaping the conversation about you, for instance whether complaints cluster around billing, one location or a single incident. That tells us whether the fix is a response, a policy change inside the business or new content that answers the concern directly.
Brand and media monitoring - 4
Respond the right way
We draft public responses that are calm, factual and brief. We don't argue, reveal customer details or make threats. For sensitive situations, we agree the wording with you before anything is posted. Sometimes the right response is no public response, and we'll explain why.
- 5
Remove what breaks the rules
Where content violates a platform's policies, such as fake reviews, impersonation, private information or spam, we file removal requests through the platform's own process and keep a record of each one. We explain which items have a realistic chance of removal and which don't, so you aren't waiting on requests that were never likely to succeed. If content may be defamatory, we point you toward an attorney rather than guessing.
- 6
Build accurate, positive results
The durable fix for most reputation problems is making sure strong, accurate pages appear for your name. We complete and improve profiles you own, such as your Google Business Profile, industry directories and professional profiles. We add pages to your website that answer common questions honestly, like your process, credentials, policies and community work. Where it fits, we pitch genuine stories to local and industry publications. We never create fake reviews, sock-puppet accounts or networks of throwaway sites.
What you receive
At the start, you receive a reputation baseline report: the top results for each of your key searches, each result labeled, and a written plan for what we'll respond to, request removal of and build.
Each month, you receive:
- The updated search snapshot, compared with the baseline, showing which results moved
- A mention log of new reviews, articles and posts, with the response taken for each
- The status of every removal request, with dates and outcomes
- A list of content we published or improved, with links
- A short summary of the main themes in what people are saying
When something urgent appears, you hear from us straight away, not at the end of the month. Every piece of content we publish in your name is listed with a link, so you always know exactly what is out there on your behalf.
Pricing: custom quote after a free review
Reputation work varies widely: one bad review is a different job from a news article on page one of your name. We quote online reputation management after a free review of what currently shows up for your business.

Can you delete negative reviews or articles about my business?
Only when they break the rules of the site they're on, for example spam, fake reviews from non-customers, hate speech or private information. In those cases, we file removal requests through the proper process, but the platform makes the final decision. Legitimate criticism and accurate news stories can't be removed by us, and anyone who says they can make them disappear is either overpromising or using methods that can backfire.
So what can reputation management actually do?
Three things. We make sure you respond well, which often matters more to readers than the criticism itself. We remove what genuinely breaks the rules. And we build up accurate, positive pages that you own or that are earned, so the top results for your name give a fuller, fairer picture. The results depend on how strong the negative content is and how much good material there is to work with.
How do I choose between the best reputation management companies?
Ask each one how they'd handle your specific problem, and be wary of anyone who promises removal, fixed timelines or a set number of results pushed down. Ask whether they write fake reviews or use networks of throwaway sites; the right answer is no. A good provider explains the limits honestly and shows you exactly what they publish in your name.
What's the difference between reputation management services and review management?
Review management focuses on Google and industry review sites: getting more reviews and replying to them. Reputation management covers everything that appears for your name, including news, forums, complaint sites, social media mentions and the wider search results. Many businesses start with review management and only need the broader service if something beyond reviews is causing damage.
Someone posted false claims about us. Should we reply or sue?
That's a legal question, and we're not lawyers, so talk to an attorney about legal options. From the reputation side, we usually recommend a calm, factual public response or none at all, depending on where it's posted, and we document everything. We won't escalate in public, because that tends to spread the content further.
Can you help with a reputation problem tied to my personal name?
Yes, if it relates to your business role, such as an owner, doctor, attorney or other professional whose name is searched by customers. We'll build accurate professional profiles and content for that name. We don't take on work aimed at hiding matters of public record or silencing legitimate consumer complaints.
