Who it's for

Link building makes sense when your pages are in decent shape but keep stalling behind competitors with a stronger reputation online. Links from other websites are one of the signals Google uses to judge trust, and in most local and niche markets, the business with better links from relevant sites has an edge that page edits alone won't close.

We build links for:

  • Contractors and home service companies competing with franchises and lead-generation sites for the same searches
  • Law firms, dental and medical practices and accounting firms in markets where every competitor has a polished website
  • Local shops and restaurants with real community ties that don't yet show up anywhere online
  • Online stores and B2B service firms whose category and service pages need authority to compete beyond one city

It also fits businesses that were burned before. If an earlier link building company sold you a batch of cheap links and rankings slipped, or your backlink report is full of foreign-language directories and spun blog posts, we start by finding out what is there before we add anything new.

One honest caveat: links send authority to pages, but they don't rescue pages that fail to answer the search. If your service pages are thin or your site has crawl problems, fix those first with on-page SEO or technical SEO, then build links to pages that deserve them.

How we do it

  1. 1

    1. Read your current link profile

We pull your links into a backlink analysis, which lists the sites and pages linking to you, the anchor text they use and which of your pages receive them. We look for patterns: every link pointing at the home page with none on service pages, the same exact-match keyword repeated in anchors, or links from sites that exist only to host links. You get a short summary of what is helping, what is neutral and what, if anything, needs attention.

    2. Find the gap between you and your competitors

A competitor gap analysis compares your links with those of the competitors ranking above you and shows the websites that link to them but not to you. This tends to be the most useful list in the project, because it points to real, proven opportunities: the local news site that covered a competitor's new location, the trade association that lists members, the supplier that features approved installers. Many of those are within your reach too.

    3. Build a target list with a reason to link

A site owner links to you when it helps their readers. For every target we decide what that reason is: a useful resource on your site, a local angle, expert commentary, a sponsorship, a membership listing or a guest article. Targets with no believable reason to link are dropped rather than spammed.

  4. 4

    4. Outreach, one site at a time

We write to editors, bloggers, association staff and business owners individually, referring to their site and what we're offering. There are no mass templates sent to thousands of addresses. Plenty of pitches get no reply, which is normal; we follow up politely once or twice and move on.

  5. 5

    5. Local and relationship links

Your business already has relationships that can become links: suppliers, manufacturers you're certified with, charities you support, the chamber you belong to, the youth team you sponsor. You tell us who they are, and we do the legwork of finding the right page and the right contact at each organization.

  6. 6

    6. Citations and digital PR

Accurate listings on business directories support local rankings and give Google consistent details about you. For digital PR, we look for a genuine story, such as a new location, a community project or useful local data you can share, and pitch it to local and trade publications. Coverage is never certain, so PR is a bonus layer, not the core of the plan.

  7. 7

    7. Verify every link

Each new link is checked: the page can be indexed, the link points to the right page on your site, and the anchor text reads naturally. Links that later disappear are flagged in your report so nothing is counted that no longer exists.

What you receive

At the start you receive the backlink audit and your first target list, drawn from the gap analysis. After that, you get a monthly link report in plain English:

  • Every new link: the linking site, the exact page, the page on your site it points to and the anchor text
  • Outreach activity: who we contacted, who replied and which conversations are still open
  • Changes in your backlink profile, including links gained and lost from any source
  • A refreshed competitor gap list, so you can see which opportunities remain
  • Rankings for the pages we are building links to, so you can judge whether the work is moving them

If we find links that look harmful, we explain why and what we suggest before acting. Questions about any link get a reply within one business day at [email protected].

Frequently asked questions

Do you sell backlinks?

No. We don't sell links from a list of sites we control, and we don't pay networks to drop links into filler articles. Every link we build comes from outreach to a real website with its own audience, where an editor or owner decided your business was worth mentioning. That takes longer than buying links, but it doesn't put your site at risk.

What is the difference between the backlinks in your one-time packages and your monthly plans?

The one-time packages include business directory listings: 10, 20 or 40 listings on sites like Bing Places, Apple Business Connect, Yelp, Foursquare and directories for your industry. They help Google confirm who and where you are. Premium also includes 2 guest articles on relevant websites. The Growth and Authority monthly plans include editorial backlinks every month, which are real articles on relevant websites that link to you in context. Editorial links take more work to earn and usually carry more weight.

Are PBN links or link farms ever part of the work?

Never. A private blog network is a set of sites built only to pass links, and Google treats them as link spam. Link farms and automated link swaps fall in the same category. If we find links like these already pointing at your site, we tell you what they are and what we recommend.

How many links do I need to rank?

There is no fixed number. It depends on how strong the pages ranking above you are, how competitive your market is and how good your own pages are. Our competitor gap analysis gives a realistic picture of what competitors have, which is a better guide than any round number.

What do you need from me?

About half an hour at the start. We ask about suppliers, manufacturers you are certified with, associations you belong to, events or charities you support and anything new at the business. Those relationships are often the easiest links to earn, and only you know about them.

What happens to the links if I stop working with you?

Links we earn sit on other people's websites, so they stay in place unless that site owner edits or removes the page. We don't remove them when you leave. Over time some links on any site disappear naturally as pages are updated, which is normal.

Can you clean up bad links from a previous provider?

We can review them and explain what is there. Google ignores most low-quality links on its own, so we only recommend a disavow file when there is a clear pattern of manipulative links or a manual action in Search Console. Nothing is disavowed without your approval.
